Tags
Tags are used to mark all pages that relate to certain types of content. Each in game concept that relates to a number of otherwise unconnected pages gets it's own tag. An example of this would be the pvp tag. It is applied to all items, buffs and encounters that are pvp specific.
Most tags are fairly straightforward, with a few exceptions:
The Unearthly tag is for unearthly coins, all items purchased using said coins and everything (effects, encounters, opponents, etc.) that can only be experienced using said items or their consumables.
The spading tags are used to mark specific deficiencies in a given page:
- needs_combat_message - Specifically for tools and techniques, this is for when no one has recorded what it says when you use it in combat. Use it in combat and find out!
- needs_content - A general tag that is used when there are many things missing.
- needs_effects - When no one know what effects come from an item. Use the item and poke around!
- needs_image - Straightforward.
- needs_multi_use_message - When no one has used more than one at once. Use two (or several) at once!
- needs_recipe_text - When no one has recorded what the description is of the items' creation. It's the text immediately to the right of the item name on the crafting screen.
- needs_salvage - We don't know what it can be broken down into. Get salvaging tools and rip it apart!
- needs_salvage - If no one has yet recorded what happens when you sell an item. Get some cash and further the cause!
- needs_sources - If no one knows where it came from. Get to searching!
- needs_spading - If the drop frequency or number distribution of an item is still unknown. Fight tons of the enemy or open innumerable waterlogged sacks, and let us know what you find!
- needs_use_message - Use it and let us know!
- needs_uses - If no one knows what it's for.
