Salvage

Unlocked

Salvage is enabled by having salvaging tools in your inventory.

Effects

Breaks down items into their simpler components (costs no energy to perform). Each salvage normally gives you one item selected at random, with a few exceptions where one salvaging can give a group of items.

The following items can only be obtained by salvaging:

The following is an outdated list of what can be salvaged. For a more up to date list, you can go to the recipesalvage page, click Options and then click Backlinks.

You can learn the skill Expert Salvager by salvaging a lot. You need to salvage approximately 250 items, not required to be all at once. With Expert Salvager, you have a 50% chance of getting a second item (or group of items). Some items only break down into one part, which means that Expert Salvager doesn't help.

Note that [1 polysteel] twice, is different from [2 polysteel]. The former will always drop 1 polysteel without ES, and drop about 1.5 polysteel with. The latter always drops 2 polysteel.
