Mascot Adapter

Image mascotadaptor.jpg
Description Zaibatsu has a habit of developing adorable mascots for everything: product lines, cities, transit systems, and even groups of mascots. In this case, it seems the mascot was for a beta version of the NovOS operating system that Zaibatsu helped develop.

You think his name is something like "Kumachikun" but, regardless of what you call it, the plugs forming its legs are actually functional. It runs some basic software and, as an added bonus, will help filter connections being run through it.

You learned a new Technique: Branded Lash

Or, if you have no pants equipped:

You accidentally whip yourself right on the leg as you finish the fight. It's surprisingly painful.

Remaining Mysteries

From Podcast 47:

A fair chunk of stuff not figured out. It's an interesting sort of… well the thing that you need to unlock is a bit more out of the box. It's the sort of thing, once you read the requirement to get the thing, it's obvious that's how that would work. Pretty sizeable new thing, one the lines of what's going on with the trick top hat. Not like a whole new zone or anything, but sizeable within the scope of a 1-coin item. (This was before the stage wand was found)

item #2292 is unfound and was created around the same time as the adapter, so may come from it.
