Ghost Ship

Location

This area is accessed through the Tainted Shoreline, from Outside the Slags. It is only accessible during the Ship of the Damned quest while Etheric.

This area is aboveground, outdoors, on the shore.

Resting

You curl up in a corner of the ship, periodically waking as you feel a the chill of a specter approaching.
You regain 15 hit points!

Or, with REM timer:

You curl up in a corner of the ship and completely pass out with the help of your REM timer. In your comatose slumber, you have a disquiting dream of spectral forms floating through you, taking control of your body to wander the world of the living. When you wake up, your flesh is cold to the touch.

You've gained 10 energy of Spectral Curse.

Or, with sailing cap, sailing shirt and sailing pants equipped:

You curl up in a corner of the ship. Nothing seems intent on bothering you, so you get a pretty good rest.

You regain 25 hit points!

Or if sleeping uses up your last energy of etheric:

You curl up in a corner of the ship, then wake up on the shores of Lake Metroplex. Were you… dreaming?

You regain 25 hit points!

As you make your way across the deck, mists push in from all sides. You wander for a while, heading far past where the ship should end, until you come face to face with an angry specter in the mists.

SPECTRAL SAILOR, TWISTED HOUND
A specter emerges from the mists, a dark form loping along beside him. When he sees you, his face twists into a scowl.

"Kill" is all he says, gesturing the shape towards you.

3 TWISTED HOUNDS
You hear a snarl behind you as three misshapen forms lope out of the fog. The lead one leaps towards you, fangs bared, while the others circle around trying to surround you.

GHOSTLY HAND
You hear a far off voice, chanting in a language you don't recognize. A moment later, a gigantic hand descends out of the mists towards you.

In the darkness and fog it's hard to say what the hand might be attached to, possibly nothing, but it's difficult to ignore it smashing into the deck in front of you.

      2. Head to the reefs - gain Mercy Killer, Dreamslayer or Undead Scourge
      3. Head into open waters - gain Path of Peace, Forked Path or Path of War
      4. Leave the helm - Nothing

Access this zone from a random choice in the oil slick on the tainted shoreline after getting the Ship of the Damned quest. You must be etheric to adventure here or you will get kicked back to shore.
