Metroplexity

I changed the layout of the page. I hope the new layout is a bit more interesting. It's a bit wonky, and the 'note about spoilers' seems unreasonably far down though.

Anyone wanting to tweak the format, add some editorial articles for the 'Getting started' column or tell me to 'STFU noob' is welcome.

'The Newbie's Guide to Getting Energy' should replace "Maximizing Your Energy" on this page once it's made

This is a fine idea, but how about you leave the link off the front page until the page is actually made?

Because if there's an empty link there, it will encourage someone to go out and make it!

Yes, unless someone would care to make that page right away, I'd rather remove Maximizing Your Energy from the list entirely and have an empty link for The Newbie's Guide to Getting Energy. "Maximizing" is pretty unhelpful right now, and empty links are an obvious way to say "hey, someone make this page!"

This is mostly so that I don't have a repeat of Metroplex Day, where I spent most of my adventures before realizing that there's a special event going on.

I understand your point. My worry is just about people coming to the site for the first time and being confounded by dead links. I guess it should be obvious that the wiki's a work in progress though, so feel free to put it back in.

I like the message-of-the-day box. I think it'd be nice to have it regardless of events occurring. Not so sure what exactly should be in it. Can include game updates when they occur. Maybe a featured article if someone has discovered some new cool thing and wants to show it off.
